Women Write Hope

Women Write Hope is a moving collective work that documents the journeys of women across Israel — Jewish and Arab — who are devoted to building peace.

At its heart lies the legacy of Vivian Silver, a lifelong activist for coexistence, who was tragically murdered in her home in the Gaza Envelope on October 7, 2023. In her spirit, her partners have chosen to continue the mission: to do everything possible to foster a peaceful future for Israelis and Palestinians.

Under the guidance of Professor Amia Lieblich, 21 women’s stories were recorded — stories of resilience, struggle, and vision. Each woman contributes in her own way, creating bridges, reshaping reality, and refusing to surrender to despair.

At a time when hope feels scarce, this book shines a light on the voices of women whose courage and persistence serve as a moral compass and a beacon for the future of this land.
